Wooooo! We had a nice little break from Handmade Monday and tutorials will start again soon. In the meantime, I thought I’d share our “handmade” nursery 😉 Okay, it’s a stretch, but just go with it. We are DIYing a lot of the items in it, so it totally counts, right?
Right now, I’m stuck between two “themes” for Little One’s nursery. Our color palette is pretty decided & based on our vintage globe, but anywhere there is pink, substitute it with orange. I want there to be pops of navy & teal for contrast, but all the fabrics that fit this criteria are more woodland in nature, which I also love. So, I’m still deciding between an “adventure” theme ((globes, maps, paper airplanes, hot air balloons, etc)) and a “nature” theme ((deer, wood grains, foxes, even buffalos!)). Who knows, maybe I’ll find a way to seamlessly tie in both together. 😉
Here’s what I’ve come up with so far:

I’m making the bedding and possibly the curtains, so I basically have to pick a few “main” prints from the following selections and will go off of those for some solid accents. It’s so tough to make decisions!
